Q: Compared to other Nashville videographers, how much do you charge for musician and band videography?
A: Depending on the type of video you're wanting depends on the rates and the final cost. A "Live" video shoot can include several songs and is usually far cheaper than individual songs recorded in a "Music Video" style. It all revolves around the amount of time shooting, the amount of time editing, the equipment required, etc. But regardless of what type of video you want, we can give you some of the best quality and prices in the Nashville area. Q: Why would I want to spend money to have someone create a music video when I could do it myself with my own camcorder?
A: The truth is, anyone with a video camera can make a recording of themselves or their band. But if you're putting something together in an attempt to promote yourself to a producer or booking agent, it's always a good idea to make the best impression that you can. Agents get hundreds of artist packages a month, and although they might not tell you this directly, they look for the ones that stand out from the crowd, and not only with musical quality, but overall quality. They're looking for professionals. And sometimes you only get one chance to make a good impression. So, if you believe you've got what it takes, why sell yourself short?
Q: Sounds like you're just trying to sell your service.
A: We're trying to earn an income just like anyone else. After all, this is America, land of enterprise and opportunity. But we're not in it just to make a buck and sell our customers short. We personally take pride in each and every project and video we produce. We aim to have the best customer service that you'll find anywhere.
Q: By the time you add up all the extras on top of your "basic package", I'll spend more than what I would like.
A: None of the extras are usually needed for the basic music video package. We can give you an "Outstanding" video for the low price stated. The prices listed under "Extras" are only there to inform you of the fact that we can offer those services if you prefer to have them. For example, if you wish to have a video which includes greenscreening, we can offer it. However, a service like that does include a much larger degree of time, and hence, a larger price figure.
Q: The other videographer I talked to said his service was better for the price.
A: Honestly, everyone you talk to is going to try to outsell their service over somebody else. The bottom line is, you be the judge.
