Photojournalistic Photography
One of the aspects of photography that we specialize in is capturing life and memories in a way that goes beyond the standard pose. There are many key ways in which photographers create great looking photos, which include: professional equipment, lighting techniques, years of experience, post editing, and the list goes on. But catching a natural pose is an art in itself. Capturing life as it is; the joy, the laughter, the emotion.
Photographers implementing this type of photography are using a technique known as photojournalism. It tells a story through the eye of the camera by visualizing more than just a predetermined pose. It describes to others what words often fail to do by accenting the very fabric of human expression.
Through the use of client interaction, this style of photography can go far beyond the traditional photography which most of us are well aquainted with. Yes, traditional poses have their place, will always be a standard, and can never be replaced. But whether it it be the tears of joy, surprise, or mystery, we believe there is no better way to express life in a photo, other than photojournalistic photography. Advanced Photo Editing
We also incorporate advanced editing techniques to create photo results that would otherwise be difficult to achieve. By using "lighting effects" during editing we can enhance photos that would normally be impossible to attain without the use of studio lighting. And although we use added lighting for many of our photo sessions, many times these are not practical and can't be implemented on every shot.
